Robert J. Eck, 50, Director of the Company since 2008, and President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company and of Anixter Inc., a subsidiary of the Company since July 2008; Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company from September 2007 until July 2008; Executive Vice President - Enterprise Cabling and Security Solutions from 2004 to 2007 and Senior Vice President - Physical Security Products and Integrated Supply in 2003 of Anixter Inc.

Thomas C. Theobald, 71, Director of the Company since 1995; Senior Advisor of Chicago Growth Partners since 2004; Managing Director of William Blair Capital Partners, L.L.C. from 1994 to 2004; Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Continental Bank Corporation from 1987 to 1994; Chairman of Columbia Mutual Funds; Director of Jones Lang LaSalle Inc., Ventas Inc. and AMBAC Financial Group.

Matthew Zell, 42, Director of the Company since 2001; Managing Director since 2001 of Equity Group Investments, L.L.C., a private investment company; President from 1990 to 2001 of Prometheus Technologies, Inc. and its predecessor, an information technology consulting firm; Director of Desarrolladora Homex S.A. de C.V. Mr. Zell is the son of Samuel Zell.

Samuel Zell, 68, Director of Anixter since 1984, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company since 1985. Founder and Chairman of Equity Group Investments LLC (EGI), a private entrepreneurial investment firm. Co-founder and chairman of Equity International, a private investment firm focused on real estate-related companies outside the U.S. Chairman of four other public companies, in addition to Anixter, listed on the New York Stock Exchange: Equity Residential Properties Trust (EQR), the largest apartment real estate investment trust (REIT) in the U.S.; Equity LifeStyle Properties (ELS), an equity real estate investment trust that owns and operates manufactured home communities in 26 states; Capital Trust (CT), a specialized real estate finance company; Covanta Holding Corp. Executive Officers

Robert J. Eck, President - Chief Executive Officer, 50. Eck has held this position since July 2008. From September 2007 until June 2008 Eck was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Anixter. Eck joined the company in 1989 and has served in a variety of positions with Anixter Inc., the company's principal operating subsidiary, as Executive Vice President - Enterprise Cabling and Security Solutions (2004 - 2007), Senior Vice President - Physical Security Products and Integrated Supply (2003) and Senior Vice President - Integrated Supply Solutions (2002).

Dennis J. Letham, Executive Vice President -- Finance and Chief Financial Officer, 57. Letham has held these positions since September 2007. Letham was Senior Vice President - Finance and Chief Financial Officer from January 1995 to September 2007. Since 1993, he also has been Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President for Anixter Inc., the company’s principal operating subsidiary.

John A. Dul, Vice President -- General Counsel & Secretary, 47. Dul has been Vice President - General Counsel since May 1998 and Secretary since November 2002. Dul has also been Secretary and General Counsel of Anixter Inc., the company's principal operating subsidiary, since January 1996. Prior thereto, he was Associate General Counsel for six years.

Terrance A. Faber, Vice President -- Controller, 57. He has held this position since October 2000. Prior to joining Anixter, Faber had been Chief Financial Officer of International Survey and Research since January 2000. From 1997 until 2000, Faber was Corporate Controller of BT Office Products International.

Philip F. Meno, Vice President -- Taxes, 50. Meno has operated in this capacity since May 1993.

Nancy C. Ross-Dronzek, Vice President -- Internal Audit, 48. Ross-Dronzek has held this position since December 2007 and of Anixter Inc., the company's principal operating subsidiary, since July 2007. Director - Corporate Audit at The Boeing Company from 2003 to 2007.

Rodney A. Shoemaker, Vice President -- Treasurer, 51. Shoemaker has filled this post since July 1999, when he was promoted from Assistant Treasurer, a job he had held since July 1993.

Rodney A. Smith, Vice President -- Human Resources, 51. Smith has held this position since August 2006. Prior to joining Anixter, Smith was Vice President - Human Resources at UOP, LLC from July 2000 to August 2006.
