Routing Guide
Anixter's U.S. Domestic Freight Routing Guide
- 3/18/13 Updated inbound routing to the state of IL from DE, IN, MD, NJ OH, PA, VA, WV to reflect (Chicago Only - Pitt Ohio) FedEx Freight Priority. Unless shipping to the Chicagoland areas of IL, these states will use FedEx Freight Priority.
- 12/16/2011: Updated inbound routing to state of IL from DE, MD, NJ, PA and VA.
- 09/12/2011: Changes made to IL, IN, NJ, OH and WV lanes.
- 04/01/2011: Changes made to outbound regional lanes in the states of AL, AR, DE, FL, GA, LA, MD, MS, NC, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, and VA.
- 01/20/2011: Effective January 30, 2011, FedEx is integrating the FedEx Freight and FedEx National LTL networks into one company. The merged companies will be called FedEx Freight and will offer two types of services, (1) FedEx Freight (Priority) and (2) FedEx Freight (Economy). Anixter will only use the FedEx Freight Priority service. The economy service will provide slower transit times and therefore should not be used for any Anixter shipments. Please note the drivers and dispatchers with FedEx Freight may use the "priority" and "economy" terminology so we wanted to make everyone aware of this change.
- 07/30/2010: All long-haul moves (greater than three days) are now handled by Conway Freight.
- 07/12/2010: All inbound and outbound shipments for the state of Nevada will now be serviced by Conway Freight.
