We have been alerted to the fact that a number of individuals are currently receiving fraudulent e-mails linked to and/or stated to come from Anixter. Please be aware that these e-mails do not originate from Anixter.


These e-mails solicit for employment and/or advise that Anixter has hired the individual. For example, fraudulent e-mails are being sent claiming that Anixter is hiring individuals to work from home and accept payment on Anixter’s behalf through the individual’s personal bank account. During the e-mail exchange there is a request for personal information of the individual. Please note that these e-mails (and the employment referred to in them) have no association to Anixter and should be treated with the utmost caution.

  • File a complaint with iC3 at www.ic3.gov—this is the Internet Crime Complaint Center that works in conjunction with the FBI.
