The Elmdene IR exit device is a proximity (touch free) request to exit device, designed for use in access control systems.
Features
- Offered in a standard UK single gang plate size it is made from durable stainless steel with an IP65 rated Infra-Red switch component. The smart stainless steel plate with the LED illumination provides a modern and aesthetically pleasing solution to a building’s door entry/exit system. The standard colour indication for the IR exit devices is red for standby and green for activated. However, it is possible for this to be reversed by use of a jumper allowing green to be used for standby and red for a ctivated. This gives flexibility to the installer should a particular colour coding be required.

Some of these options are:
- Residential Delivery - A residential delivery charge applies to shipments to a home or private residence, including locations where a business is operated from a home, or to any shipment in which the shipper has designated the delivery address as a residence.
- Inside Delivery - When requested, freight carrier unloads shipments from or to areas that are not next to the trailer, such as shopping malls or office buildings. An elevator must be available to provide service to floors above or below the trailer.
- Tail-lift/HIAB - Freight carrier provides tail-lift/HIAB service, if needed, to load and unload a shipment when loading/unloading docks are not available.
- Limited Access Locations - A limited access location is a site where pickup or delivery is restricted or limited.
