
Description
The IFS D1300 Series data transceivers provide point-to-point transmission of half-duplex (2-Wire) EIA RS-485 tri-state data signals over one or two optical fibers. The transceivers are transparent to data encoding allowing for broad-range compatibilit y. When used as a line-terminating device, these modules are also compatible with the IFS D2300 Series drop and repeat data transceivers. Models within this series are available for use with multimode or single-mode optical fiber. Plug-and-Play design ensures ease of installation requiring no electrical or optical adjustments. Each transceiver incorporates power and transmit/receive data status indicating LED’s for monitoring proper system operation. The modules are available in either stand-alone o r rack mount versions.

Some of these options are:
- Residential Delivery - A residential delivery charge applies to shipments to a home or private residence, including locations where a business is operated from a home, or to any shipment in which the shipper has designated the delivery address as a residence.
- Inside Delivery - When requested, freight carrier unloads shipments from or to areas that are not next to the trailer, such as shopping malls or office buildings. An elevator must be available to provide service to floors above or below the trailer.
- Tail-lift/HIAB - Freight carrier provides tail-lift/HIAB service, if needed, to load and unload a shipment when loading/unloading docks are not available.
- Limited Access Locations - A limited access location is a site where pickup or delivery is restricted or limited.
