With ComNet Add IP to Existing Analog System
Comnet

With ComNet you can have Ethernet and analog video on a single coaxial cable. The CLT/RVE1COAX link, utilizing SLOC™ (Security Link over COAX) technology, combines Ethernet and analog video and transmits it up to 500 meters. The unit has a PoE variant that provides up to 30 watts of PoE (Power over Ethernet) for powered devices (PD). ComNet sees the primary application for this device as a cost-effective hybrid surveillance system solution.

The CLT/RVE1COAX uses SLOC™ Security Link over COAX technology to combine both video streams on to a single channel coaxial cable and extend the distance of the Ethernet past the industry standard 100 meters to 500 meters. The CLT/RVE1COAX is made in the USA and comes with a Lifetime Warranty.

Comnet Communication

According to Andrew Acquarulo Jr., ComNet President and COO, “We are seeing a demand coming from the security market for the transition from analog to IP. Gaming facilities are migrating to IP video, this product the CLT/RVE1COAX, allows for the combination and IP video to be transmitted on existing infrastructure, while eliminating the investment needed to have two different mediums in place to handle analog and IP video requirements. The CLT/RVE1COAX can put both video types on the already installed COAX infrastructure.”
