Introducing the new Bosch MIC IP 7100i cameras

The MIC IP camera family has been updated with the all new MIC IP starlight 7100i and MIC IP ultra 7100i.


The housing of both new 7100i cameras has been enhanced with a ruggedized, corrosion-resistant design that makes it perfectly suited for challenging applications where cameras are exposed to extreme conditions.

All MIC IP cameras have what it takes to deliver the highest quality of relevant video images - regardless of lighting conditions, time-of-day or object movement.

The MIC IP ultra 7100i takes it one step further: it's the first camera of its kind to combine a rugged housing with 4K ultra HD resolution, with 12x zoom and optical image stablization.

Based on a 1 inch UHD CMOS Sensor and a high-resolution UHD lens, it provides the high quality details demanded by applications such as city surveillance, crowd management and perimeter security.

The true potential of MIC IP cameras is the combination of their rugged design with built-in Intelligent Video Analytics.

Even in extreme conditions during e.g. monitoring a highway, video data can be interpreted directly at the source to further improve the level of security.

These cameras take a siginficant leap in what's possible with Intelligent Video Analytics as they also offer Camera Trainer functionality (see pdf attached to be linked to).

The next step in the development of Video Analytics, this exciting technology introduces "machine learning" capabilities to MIC IP cameras.

Rugged by design

The solid metal bodies of the MIC IP starlight 7100i and the MIC IP ultra 7100i can withstand severe weather conditions.

That includes high winds, rain, fog, dust and 100% humidity (UL Type 6P and IP68), temperatures from -40°C to +65°C, extreme vibrations (IEC60068) and high impacts (IK10). The MIC IP starlight 7100i and MIC IP ultra 7100i are designed to satisfy salt-water and marine requirements with an ISO12944-6: C5-M (High) Aluminum Housing Components rating.

They also feature a new drive train, enabling them to track slow moving targets as smoothly as possible.
