IT Infrastructure Solutions

The digital transformation is revolutionising production. To control production in line with Industry 4.0, all components are now interlinked and communicate with one another: robots, human/machine interfaces, sensors and actuators, machines, tools and control systems. Their values are compared against their digital twin. This generates vast volumes of data. That’s where decentralized Edge Data Centres come in in addition to Hyperscale and Colocations DCs.

Rittal and Anixter provide customized Data Center solutions like “Rack & Stack Offerings”, Smart Rack offerings for Colocation, Industrial Rack packages for industrial environments, Outdoor solutions for Telco, and Container solutions for global System Integrators.

Industry Infrastructure Solutions

The key to greater productivity in enclosure manufacturing lies in digital integration and end-to-end data transfer across the entire value chain. Digital prototyping from the outset, with the digital twin at its heart, provides the basis for rapid links between processes, systems and beyond.

Rittal and Anixter provide industrial enclosures as well as wall-mounted enclosures with a unique range of accessories for system integration, power distributions and climate control. Various configurators exist to select your right package. The products are available globally.

LCP DX heat recovery ready
The LCP DX has three key features, which are required for heat recovery:

  • LCP in water-cooled mode
When the distance between LCP DX and its condenser cannot respect the requirements (till 45mt for 12-20kW models; till 60 meters for 35kW), it’s possible to modify the system LCP DX - condenser changing it from air cooled to water cooled: in this way, longer distances are possible
  • Suitable for heat recovery
But a water cooled system can be also exploited to produce hot water, so to get a heat-recovery from LCP DX: for small and medium data center, this is a good example of energy re-use, which is more requested and needed, even in small application
  • Heat pump
In general, there are 3 possible levels of energy re-use which can be obtained from LCP DX system, depending on temperature ranges of them directly from LCP, while the highest level by using an additional heat pump. Of course the higher the temperature range, the higher is the value of the energy and larger its possible usage and applications
