Does Anixter cut wire and cable?

Products without standard lengths can be cut to the length that you require. For these products, simply enter the required length in the quantity field and add that product to the shopping cart and checkout. Available lengths and required minimum quantities are displayed with the product information on

Does Anixter offer contract or volume pricing?

Please contact your local Anixter sales representative regarding contract and volume pricing options.

Does Anixter handle sales tax exemptions?

If you are eligible for sales tax exemptions, please provide us with your completed tax exemption documents. While your tax exemption status is being processed, you will be charged sales tax on purchases. After your tax status has been approved, Anixter will refund the sale tax you have paid and your will not be charged tax on subsequent purchases.

How long does it take to process an order?

Orders placed on are typically processed within one business day. Orders received during non-business hours will be processed the next business day.

What shipping/delivery options are available?

Parcel shipments can be sent regular ground, 2 business days, or next business day. For non-parcel shipments, Anixter offer LTL and other shipping options. Please contact your local Anixter sales representative for more details on your shipping options.

Which payment methods are accepted by

United States & Canada only: Customers may use both account payment terms as well as credit cards for purchases.

All other countries and regions: Contract pricing and payment terms are required for use of Credit card payment are not accepted outside of the United States and Canada at this time.

What is quantity break pricing?

Quantity break pricing is a price discount based upon the quantity purchased.

What is multiple parts search?

Multiple parts search allows you to quickly search for many products at once. Simply enter a set of either manufacturer part numbers or Anixter part numbers into the search box, separated by a comma for each part number.

What is a product bundle?

A product bundle is a collection of products grouped together for easy sourcing and ordering.

Does Anixter ship outside of the United States?

Anixter has locations in 300 cities in more than 50 countries.  If you are located outside the United States, click here to find your nearest sales location. Currently, credit card orders placed on can only be shipped within the United States.

What are the password guidelines?

Your password must be:

  • Minimum of 8 characters
  • Maximum 64 characters
  • Can contain: upper letters, lower letters, numeric characters and the following special characters are allowed ` ~ ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) - _ = + [ ] { } | ; : ' " , . / ?

Your password must not be the same as your user ID.

What is's customer service business hours? Customer Services is available Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. United States Central Time except on public holidays.

What can I do if I have an out-of-hours project emergency?

For out-of-hours emergencies, call 1.800.323.8166 and you will be transferred to a representative in your area.

Does have a timeout for your session?

Your session will timeout if there was inactivity for 30 minutes.

Is available to all customers globally?

Usage of is currently available to all customers within the United States and Canada. Outside of the United States and Canada, contracted B2B customers with customer account numbers may complete the registration option to be notified when this service becomes available in their area.

How long will it take for my registration to be processed?

United States and Canada: Registrations typically complete within 5-7 business days.

Globally: is currently expanding to offer support to more customers across the globe. During this time, only select customers will be onboarded to the site. A registration request can be submitted to express your interest. Once this service becomes available in your area, your registration will be reviewed and you will receive a notification with your access information through the contact information you provided.
