This is why Bosch is introducing an evolution in the security cameras market. The DINION IP thermal 8000 camera and the MIC IP fusion 9000i (GIT security award 2018 winner) combine the fields of powerful thermal imaging cameras with Bosch’s proprietary suite of built-in Intelligent Video Analytics.

Both cameras offer excellent thermal performance with built-in Intelligent Video Analytics and, thanks to their robust housing, they are ideal for applications such as perimeter protection of airports, critical infrastructures and bridges, ensuring early detection in environments with limited vision due to poor lighting conditions, smoke or complete darkness.
What makes the MIC IP fusion 9000i stand out is the combination of both an optical and thermal imager in one rugged housing, providing relevant images in any lighting condition. Together with the camera’s metadata fusion capability, situational awareness is guaranteed at any time.

The DINION IP thermal 8000 camera offers excellent thermal performance, built-in Intelligent Video Analytics and outstanding corrosion resistance. This camera is an easy replacement for the Bosch VOT-320. The DINION IP thermal 8000 camera offers a choice of resolutions: QVGA or VGA. The highest resolution and thermal capabilities of the camera offer excellent details of the scene, making the information easier for users to interpret. The DINION IP thermal 8000 camera is ideal for mission-critical applications such as perimeter protection of airports, critical infrastructures, government buildings and bridges ensuring early detection in environments with limited vision due to poor lighting conditions, smoke or complete darkness.

The solid metal bodies of the MIC IP starlight 7000i and the MIC IP fusion 9000i can withstand severe weather conditions. That includes high winds, rain, fog, dust and 100% humidity (UL Type 6P and IP68), temperatures from -40°C to +65°C, extreme vibrations (IEC60068) and high impacts (IK10).

Built-in starlight technology ensures highly detailed color images in extremely low-light situations. When light levels drop to zero, the optional illuminator in the MIC IP starlight 7000i camera, or the thermal capabilities of the MIC IP fusion 9000i, ensure the greatest level of detail or early detection of objects.

Intelligent Video Analytics enables the detection of objects over large distances. When combined with the thermal imaging capabilities of the MIC IP fusion 9000i, it is the perfect solution for early object detection in mission-critical applications like the perimeter protection of airports, critical infrastructures and border patrol.

The new MIC IP fusion 9000i offers a unique feature in terms of video analytics: metadata fusion. It fuses the metadata of the camera’s built-in optical and thermal imager, providing users with full situational awareness - regardless of whether it’s the optical or thermal video stream that’s being watched. Metadata fusion helps users to focus on ‘invisible’ things that need attention.
Another innovation offered by both MIC IP models is video analytics while moving.
An operator is alerted, or the camera’s Intelligent Tracking feature is triggered, the moment a moving object or person is detected while the MIC IP camera is panning, tilting or zooming. Once Intelligent Tracking is activated, it ensures that moving objects are automatically tracked.
