Atlanta, GA - May 19, 2014. Superior Essex announces that its 10Gain XP CAT 6A cables now offer 7 dB headroom over TIA-568-C.2 standards for Power Sum Alien Near End Crosstalk (PSANEXT) and Power Sum Attenuation to Alien Crosstalk Ratio Far-End (PSAACRF). This new performance guarantee is designed to provide UTP systems with interference protection that approaches that of shielded cabling systems.

“Our research on the performance limitations of 10 gigabit Ethernet systems showed that alien crosstalk is the true limiting noise factor within the cabling network. Knowing this, we enhanced the alien crosstalk performance of our 10Gain XP design to a level that makes the cable virtually impervious to outside interference,” says Lindsay Allen, Vice President of Marketing for Superior Essex International LP.
