This class is intended to familiarize the attendee with installing and maintaining Exit Devices and Door Closers. The training session will include review of codes relating to requirements and use, proper selection of hardware, hands-on experiences for applications, and options for adding features in the field.

Subjects to be covered include:

  • Overview of Exit Device & Door Closer Product Types & Applications
  • Exit Devices and Door Closers Installation and Adjustment
  • Troubleshooting Exit Device and Door Closer installations
CYLINDRICAL & MORTISE LOCKS;
Things you MUST Know to Service and Install (4 hours)
 
1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
 
This class is intended to familiarize the attendee with installing and maintaining Cylindrical Locks & Mortise Locks. The training session will include review of Grade 1 requirements relating to manufacturing and use, proper selection of hardware, hands-on experiences for applications and options for adding features in the field.
 
Subjects to be covered include:
 
  • Overview of Cylindrical & Mortise Product Types & Options
  • Lockset Functions & Applications
  • Mortise Locks Installation/Assembly
  • Cylindrical Locks Installation/Assembly
  • Troubleshooting Cylindrical & Mortise Locks
