The 82 Enclosure Family shares many of the standard features traditionally found in the CommScopes 80-Type Outdoor Cabinets such as rugged construction, side-splicing, and a separate battery compartment. Now more than ever before, the new 82 Enclosure Family is engineered to optimize equipment density; heat transfer and dissipation; power reserve; ease of installation and maintenance; and environmental protection.; Designed with flexibility in mind, CommScopes 82 Enclosure Family can be economically configured with customer-specified options. Options include: battery heater pads, cooling and heating solutions, audible door alarms, enhanced Electromagnetic Interface (EMI) shielding and a variety of digital cross connect/fiber splicing equipment ty pes. The 82 Family of Enclosures can accommodate a variety of electronics and is arranged to maximize space, providing more revenue-generating network connections from a single enclosure. The 82 Family is available in three sizes: 82A, 82D, and 82G to be used in small to very large residential, business and rural applications. This Family of Enclosures houses the electronics which provide customers with POTS, ISDN, special service circuits, Internet capability and growth, and video transmission. The se electronics enclosures can be used to house existing technologies such as DS1, DS1 pipes, DS3, and DS3 pipes as well as the newer high bandwidth solutions such as ADSL, VDSL. and HDSL. The 82 Family of Enclosures can house any vendors electronics to provide these services and can also be used as a fiber hub applications include ring topology to ensure reliable service with backup and fiber extension for fiber-to-the home applications.

You have several shipping options for parcel shipping: standard ground 5 to 7 business days, 2 to 3 business days, or next business day.
Anixter.com orders ship to addresses within the United States. Anixter.com orders do not currently ship to addresses outside the United States or military/government APO/FPO locations. We are also not able to ship to Post Office Box addresses. In addition, Anixter.com offers Less-Than-A-Truckload “LTL” option for products that cannot be shipped via parcel shipping. For products that will be shipped via LTL, you will be provided with a set of Accessorials to select from to provide Anixter with additional shipping considerations, such as residential delivery, inside delivery, liftgate or limited access.
- Residential Delivery - A residential delivery charge applies to shipments to a home or private residence, including locations where a business is operated from a home, or to any shipment in which the shipper has designated the delivery address as a residence.
- Inside Delivery - When requested, freight carrier unloads shipments from or to areas that are not next to the trailer, such as shopping malls or office buildings. An elevator must be available to provide service to floors above or below the trailer.
- Liftgate - Freight carrier provides liftgate service, if needed, to load and unload a shipment when loading/unloading docks are not available.
- Limited Access Locations - A limited access location is a site where pickup or delivery is restricted or limited.
