High-Tempertature Cables

High-temperature cable constructions, from conductor to insulating system, are rated 125°C, 150°C, 200°C, 250°C, 450°C and 550°C. Products include braided, braidless silicone (SRML), TGGT and MG types.

125°C

125°C
  • EPDM Lead Wire: High-temperature lead wire with ethyline-propylene diene elastomer insulation. 125°C, 600 V lead wire.

150/200°C

  • EPDM Lead Wire: High-temperature lead wire with ethyline-propylene diene elastomer insulation. 600 V wire with temperature ratings of 150°C non-flexing, 125°C flexing.
  • SF-2: Ozone-resistant silicone rubber insulation with a braided  fiberglass outer covering with a high temperature finish. 150/200°C 600 V appliance wire.
  • SRML: Ozone-resistant silicone rubber insulation with a braided fiberglass outer covering with a high temperature finish. 150°C 600 V appliance wire.
  • Braidless Silicone Rubber: Ozone resitant silicone rubber insulation over stranded tinned copper conductors. 150°C, 600 V appliance wire.
  • Sil-A-Blend®: Registered trademark of the Radix Wire Company. Ozone-resistant silicone rubber insulation with a fiberglass reinforcement, covered by an overall layer of silicone rubber. 200°C 600 V appliance wire.
  • SKS: Soaking pit cable made up of conductors with silicone rubber covered with fiberglass. Overall flame retardant tape, covered by a K-fiber braid with a moisture, flame and heat resistant finish. Overall braided stainless steel wire armor. 200°C 600 V.
  • SRK: A cable with ozone-resistant silicone rubber insulation with an overall jacket of braided K-fiber impregnated with flame-, heat- and moisture-resistant finish. 200°C 600 V fixture wire and power cable.
  • SRGK: A cable with ozone-resistant silicone rubber insulation with braided glass yarn conductor jacket. Cable core of insulated conductors shielded or unshielded and an overall jacket of braided K-fiber impregnated with flame-, heat- and moisture-resistant finish. 150/200°C 600 V multiconductor cable.

250°C

250°C
  • TGGT: PTFE TeflonTM tape insulation with an insulation covering of wrapped glass yarn and an overall sheath of braided glass yarn impregnated with a moisture, heat, flame and fraying resistant compound. 600 V, 250°C appliance wire.

450/550°C

450/550°C
  • MG / MGT: Glass reinforced mica tape insulated cable with an overall sheath of woven glass yarn impregnated with a flame, heat and moisture resistant finish. 450°C, 600 V appliance wire.
